Lecture by Professor Dr. Reiner Keller: The Discursive Construction of Reality: What is at stake?
The lecture presents the basic arguments for a sociology of knowledge approach to discourse (SKAD) interested in the discursive construction of realities. It argues how SKAD combines the interest in Foucauldian power/knowledge regimes with the interpretative paradigm in sociology in order to analyze social relations of knowledge/knowing and social politics of knowledge/knowing.
